What is a course session?

A course session represents a single delivery of a module. Each session is made up of one or more session dates, which are the specific teaching days for that particular run.

This is also known as 'Intakes' or 'Runs'.

How Course Sessions Appear in the Prospectus

Course session details - such as the start date, capacity, and active status - are automatically reflected in the student-facing prospectus, where students can view and apply for upcoming sessions.

⚠️ Please note: The prospectus updates once daily, so any changes made may not appear immediately.

What You Can Edit in the Course Session Editor

As an administrator or lecturer, you can:

  • Add new course sessions

  • Update the start and end dates

  • Adjust the capacity Toggle whether the session is active (visible to students)

  • Manage individual session dates
